Inspiration – Bold, Classical African interiors inspired by the spice route, dramatic sunsets and earthy dunes on which the villa is built.
This project was an “inherited” space, in that it started its life out as a holiday home for European Royalty. It was built deep into the thick African bush and on the edge of majestic dunes for maximum seclusion and privacy. Our Dutch clients were looking for a luxurious yet unpretentious holiday home that incorporated classical designs with a rich textural colour palette that represented the colours of the Spice Route and a Pan-African flavour.
